Contraindications

Vertebral infectious diseases
Impaired blood circulation in the spinal cord
Vertebrogenic pain syndrome in the acute phase accompanied with severe pain
Cicatrical-commissural epiduritis
Pseudospondylolisthesis (Stage III — IV; Stage I in the cervical spine)
Senile osteoporosis, myeloma, hyperparathyroid osteodystrophy
Disc herniation with prolapse of annulus fibrosus or nucleus pulposus into the spinal canal
Childhood scoliosis
Presence of foreign materials (metallic parts, plates) in the spine
Cauda equina or spinal cord compression syndromes
Pregnancy (due to impossibility of proper fixation)
